What you will do
- Own end-to-end vendor invoice, employee expense claim, refund, partner settlement, and payment approval processes.
- Oversee payroll processing, approvals, payments, journals, and cost allocations across markets and products.
- Lead cost optimization, card-scheme incentive accruals, working-capital management, and cost allocation with FP&A.
- Establish expense controls, approval policies, procurement reviews, and accurate financial records.
- Drive process improvement and automation, including the adoption of AI tools.
- Build and develop a team of 3 or more while partnering with FP&A, People/HR, and Settlement & Reconciliation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience across accounts payable, expense management, or payroll, ideally in fintech, payments, or e-commerce.
- Experience leading and developing teams of 3 or more remotely.
- Working knowledge of taxation and the ability to apply appropriate treatment across markets.
- Experience with multi-currency and multi-entity finance operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA, CPA, or ACCA qualification is advantageous.
