Finance Associate (Crypto)

Location: Hong Kong, Hong Kong; Workplace: Hybrid

What you will do

• Own month-end book closing for multiple legal entities across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
• Prepare and review consolidation inputs and support timely group financial reporting.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, bank matrices, schedules, reconciliations, and financial control points.
• Coordinate documentation and audit interfaces with external auditors and tax advisors across multiple jurisdictions.
• Design and implement finance workflow automations using AI tools.
• Support regulatory compliance activities and ad hoc finance projects with the Deputy Head of Finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of multi-entity accounting, intercompany processes, group consolidation, and financial controls.
• Experience implementing AI tools in finance workflows, such as reconciliation, reporting automation, or exception flagging.
• Experience with Workday or comparable ERP systems such as Xero, NetSuite, or SAP.
• Strong written and spoken English required; Cantonese or Mandarin is advantageous.

Nice to have

• CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification completed or in progress.
• Experience with Big Four auditing, financial services, digital asset businesses, or multi-entity regulated environments.
• Exposure to digital asset or crypto accounting.
• Experience coordinating external audit and tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
