SMTS - Field Application Engineering (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Drive technology demonstrations, design-win acquisition, customer evaluations, and design-in activities for APAC customers.
• Act as the primary technical interface for customers and coordinate technical sales interactions.
• Partner with customer application engineering, account, sales, design, marketing, and technology teams to develop solutions and resolve technical gaps.
• Prepare technical presentations and proposals, communicate technology strengths and limitations, and formulate customer requirements.
• Lead customer design reviews, mock tapeouts, MPW and test-chip planning, and tapeout execution.
• Support tapeout readiness, silicon functionality verification, product performance analysis, design margin reviews, and post-tapeout activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in semiconductor technology or design.
• End-to-end experience from product concept through silicon validation.
• Experience with IC product design and IP, plus basic competence in design enablement environments, flows, and tools.
• Solid understanding of silicon processing and device physics; foundry experience is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, technical, presentation, communication, project management, and sales skills.
