Field Operations Trainer (Robotics)

Location: Remote in Mexico with required domestic and international travel, including travel to U.S. operations. The role combines classroom, office, and operational floor environments and is expected to begin approximately 4–6 months before site go-live.

What you will do

• Deliver and coordinate onboarding, certification, and ongoing training for Cell Operators, System Operators, Maintenance technicians, and other operational roles.
• Manage training schedules, sequencing, completion tracking, certification records, recertification requirements, and audit-ready documentation through the LMS.
• Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, EHS, Quality, HR, Operations, and other subject-matter experts to align training with operational needs.
• Provide real-time coaching, performance reinforcement, and skills development on the operations floor.
• Support localization and translation of training materials while maintaining enterprise learning standards.
• Measure training effectiveness through certification, productivity, quality, and operational performance metrics, addressing skill gaps as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, Operations, Industrial Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience delivering structured training in manufacturing, logistics, warehouse automation, distribution, industrial operations, or other technical environments.
• Bilingual Spanish and English proficiency is required.
• Knowledge of STPS requirements, DC-3 training documentation, NOM-035 requirements, and applicable workforce compliance standards.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems, maintaining training records, and managing certification tracking programs.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work across multiple shifts and operational environments.
