Senior Demand Planner

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; hybrid work with 3 days in office and 2 days remote

Salary: CAD 80,000–114,000 per year

What you will do

• Own rolling 12–18 month unit sales forecasts at style, color, and geography level.
• Translate demand forecasts into monthly receipt dollar needs for buying and open-to-buy decisions.
• Manage weeks-of-supply, safety stock, seasonal inventory coverage, and size distribution curves.
• Lead demand inputs and presentations for the monthly S&OP and consensus planning cycle.
• Track forecast accuracy and bias, investigate supply-constrained misses, and improve forecasting methodology.
• Partner with Supply, Merchandising, Marketing, Finance, Allocation, and Commercial teams to manage inventory risks and product lifecycles.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, merchandise planning, inventory planning, or retail analytics in a retail, DTC, or e-commerce environment.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting methodology, including baseline and trend construction, seasonality, promotional overlays, safety stock, and coverage models.
• Experience with S&OP or monthly consensus planning, including geography-level forecasting and senior stakeholder presentations.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and experience with demand planning systems and BI tools.
• Strong quantitative analysis, communication, ownership, and continuous improvement skills.
• SQL experience is an asset; jewelry, accessories, sized products, or demand planning system implementation experience is also an asset.
