People Operations Specialist

Location: Must be based in San Francisco, CA (On-site)

Compensation: $100,000 – $150,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Run end-to-end onboarding for new hires to ensure a seamless and welcoming experience.
• Coordinate international hiring and contractor management in collaboration with local advisors.
• Support visa and immigration processes alongside legal counsel.
• Manage day-to-day benefits administration and support annual renewals.
• Maintain accurate HRIS data and build scalable operational systems and runbooks.
• Assist with compliance tasks including I-9s, SOC 2, and board consents.
• Plan company offsites and team events to foster a positive culture.

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in people operations, HR, recruiting coordination, or startup operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Exceptional organizational skills with proficiency in managing trackers and spreadsheets.
• Strong written communication skills and a warm, professional demeanor.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
• Bias toward action and a strong ownership mentality.
