Location: NYC Headquarters; hybrid work format. Remote compensation tiers are also listed for the United States.

Salary: New York City $158,000–$209,000 annually with equity; Remote Premium $143,000–$189,000 annually with equity; Remote Standard $136,000–$179,000 annually with equity.

What you will do

• Build, improve, and maintain machine learning models for balance optimization, content personalization, user experience personalization, and fraud controls.
• Develop reliable feature engineering pipelines and data infrastructure in partnership with engineering.
• Develop, evaluate, deploy, monitor, and improve batch and real-time production models.
• Evaluate AI, classical machine learning, statistical, and probabilistic approaches and recommend suitable techniques.
• Apply data quality, validation, versioning, reproducibility, and auditability standards across model and pipeline work.
• Partner with product and engineering stakeholders to define success metrics, communicate model tradeoffs, and connect technical results to business outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data science and machine learning experience in fintech, payments, or a similarly regulated consumer domain.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science, machine learning, statistics, data science, or another quantitative discipline.
• Production experience building models that drive measurable business outcomes and affect end-user experiences.
• Advanced SQL and Python skills, with experience building and maintaining reliable feature engineering pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end model deployment, monitoring, drift detection, data pipelines, and A/B testing.
• Experience owning production models where failures may have financial or compliance consequences.
