Senior Data Scientist (AI/ML)

Salary: USD $124,000–$329,200 per year, with potential bonus and stock eligibility for certain roles.

What you will do

• Lead data acquisition, formatting, documentation, and onboarding of datasets from production systems and third-party vendors.
• Review data quality, resolve data integrity issues, and drive upstream improvements with partner teams.
• Build models, run experiments, analyze results, and evaluate model methodology and performance.
• Establish best practices for model validation, implementation, deployment, monitoring, scalability, and maintenance.
• Develop data-driven strategies and work with internal stakeholders and customers to define and solve business problems.
• Communicate statistical and machine learning concepts, write maintainable code, and contribute to code and model reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant quantitative or computer science field with 5+ years of data science experience, or a master’s degree with 3+ years, doctorate with 1+ year, or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing structured and unstructured data and applying statistical techniques.
• Strong understanding of regression, classification, time-series analysis, experimental design, and causal inference.
• Programming proficiency in Python or R and experience with SQL or KQL.
• Experience with data manipulation and workflow tools such as Spark and Airflow.
• Ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders through storytelling and visualization.
