TL;DR
Strategic Finance Business Partner (FP&A/Strategic Finance): Partnering with Engineering and Product leadership to translate investment and roadmap decisions into measurable business outcomes with an accent on R&D planning, resource allocation, and infrastructure cost management. Focus on building financial models, defining efficiency metrics, developing KPI reporting, and supporting pricing and deal structure decisions.

What you will do
- Partner with Engineering and Product leadership on resource allocation, roadmap decisions, and business unit operations.
- Own end-to-end R&D financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and variance analysis.
- Analyze headcount, non-payroll, cloud, and on-premises infrastructure spending.
- Define efficiency metrics, identify cost optimization opportunities, and manage KPI reporting.
- Build an understanding of the product portfolio and provide input on pricing, packaging, and deal structure decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 4+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or management consulting.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, executive-ready presentations, and business partnership with technical stakeholders.
- Strong executive presence, intellectual curiosity, self-direction, and comfort with ambiguity.
- Experience with SQL, BI tools, planning tools such as Pigment or Adaptive, and Workday is a plus.
- Interest in AI tools and willingness to incorporate them into daily work.
