Location: On-site in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, supporting offices in Manila, London, Vancouver, and San Francisco.

What you will do
- Own end-to-end L1–L3 IT support and act as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Support Sydney headquarters and remote global offices, coordinating with remote hands when required.
- Monitor infrastructure, respond to incidents and alerts, and maintain service availability across multiple sites and time zones.
- Manage backup and recovery systems, including Synology NAS, VM image backups, and offsite or cloud copies.
- Administer Google Workspace across multiple domains, including users, groups, Shared Drives, licensing, security, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Maintain office networks, firewalls, IPsec VPNs, VLANs, and UniFi wireless infrastructure while scoping and delivering practical improvements.
Requirements
- Senior experience in IT support or systems administration, with independent ownership of escalations.
- Experience supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
- Strong networking knowledge covering VLANs, firewalls, IPsec/VPNs, DNS, and routing; OPNsense, pfSense, and UniFi experience is valuable.
- Experience with Google Workspace administration, backups, virtualization, storage, monitoring, and incident response.
- Scripting or automation experience with Python or Bash, plus strong cybersecurity, diagnostics, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Exceptional English communication and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users while collaborating across departments and time zones.
Nice to have
- Experience with GAM, AWS, Terraform, Puppet, Prometheus, or PCI-DSS environments.
- Experience with high-availability firewalls using CARP.
