TL;DR
Network Engineer – Corporate IT (Enterprise Networking): Designing, administering, and optimizing CleanSpark’s corporate network infrastructure across office and operational environments with an accent on network security, VPN technologies, enterprise switching, wireless networking, and firewalls. Focus on troubleshooting complex Layer 1–3 issues, leading infrastructure deployments, maintaining reliable network services, and executing site upgrades.

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, United States; Workplace: On-site. Travel to hirify.global offices, mining sites, and other company locations may be required.

What you will do

  • Design, implement, administer, and optimize corporate network infrastructure, including switches, wireless access points, firewalls, VPN services, and related equipment.
  • Own incident response for network alerts, service disruptions, connectivity issues, and security-related incidents.
  • Troubleshoot complex Layer 1–3 network issues using structured diagnostics and root cause analysis.
  • Install, configure, deploy, maintain, and replace network hardware, including Meraki and UniFi platforms.
  • Administer VPN connectivity, firewall policies, DHCP, DNS, wireless networking, monitoring, patching, and firmware updates.
  • Lead network expansion projects, cabling initiatives, hardware deployments, site upgrades, documentation, and change management activities.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience administering enterprise or corporate network environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, inter-VLAN routing, BGP/OSPF concepts, DHCP, DNS, QoS, 802.11 wireless networking, and IPsec and SSL/TLS VPN technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise networking platforms; Cisco Meraki and/or Ubiquiti UniFi experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience administering VPN solutions and firewalls, including policy creation, access rules, site-to-site VPNs, remote-access VPNs, and security baselines.
  • Proficiency with CLI diagnostics, SSH, packet capture tools, monitoring platforms, ticketing systems, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to work on-site and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 pounds, climbing ladders, installing equipment, and working in network closets or data centers.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Meraki CMNO, CCNP, CompTIA Security+, or Fortinet NSE.
  • Experience with scripting or automation using Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
