Remote Pharmacy Technician (Bilingual)

Location: Remote

Salary: $23.00 per hour; final compensation depends on geographic location, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Support members, providers, and pharmacies through phone, chat, email, and written correspondence.
• Resolve questions about mail order, benefit design, formulary coverage, medication costs, prior authorization criteria, and claims adjudication.
• Help network pharmacies process prescription claims and review claim accuracy against benefit and contract standards.
• Support clinical pharmacists with patient and provider outreach, appointment scheduling, program enrollment, and medication-adherence follow-up.
• Document interactions and resolutions accurately for continuity of care, quality assurance, compliance, and operational reporting.
• Own issues through final resolution, coordinate with internal teams, and use AI-enabled tools and knowledge systems to improve service efficiency.

Requirements

• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills required.
• Active/current National Pharmacy Technician Certification through PTCB or NHA required.
• One to three years of pharmacy technician experience in a health plan, retail pharmacy, TPA, PBM contact center, mail-order pharmacy, or specialty pharmacy.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy claims adjudication, benefit design, and PBM terminology.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and root-cause problem-solving skills, empathy, adaptability, and the ability to manage concurrent communication queues.
