Software Engineer, Platform & Infrastructure

hirify.global is building an AI-powered healthcare network connecting doctors, pharmacies, payers, and biopharma companies to help patients start treatment faster and enable more effective pharmaceutical research and launches.

What you will do

• Own the compute platform, including Kubernetes orchestration, networking, autoscaling, service topology, and ingress.
• Drive performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency across Postgres, OpenSearch, and BigQuery.
• Build cloud-spend attribution and optimization across compute, data, and storage.
• Define SLOs, capacity planning, infrastructure observability, and incident response.
• Build infrastructure-as-code, reusable service patterns, and self-service primitives for product teams.

Requirements

• Production Kubernetes experience at meaningful scale, including networking, autoscaling, and cluster reliability.
• Deep AWS expertise with EKS, VPC, and IAM boundaries, plus strong Terraform experience.
• Experience operating Postgres under production load and completing a low-downtime database migration.
• Strong ability to simplify systems and reduce unnecessary complexity.
• Comfort working in regulated, high-stakes environments and moving quickly with substantial autonomy.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with PHI, HIPAA, or SOC 2.
• Track record of quickly mastering a new domain.
