Software Engineer (Infrastructure)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid

Salary: $140K–$215K estimated base salary, plus equity

What you will do

• Ensure the stability, security, scalability, and performance of the platform.
• Own critical infrastructure components and build systems that address complex customer requirements.
• Provide product engineers with the tools and systems needed to work effectively.
• Collaborate with leadership, product, and engineering teams on roadmaps, architecture, and product decisions.
• Improve engineering practices and processes.
• Engage directly with customers on product feedback and technical issues.

Requirements

• 4+ years of full-time software engineering experience or equivalent experience building large distributed systems.
• Experience scaling cloud infrastructure with providers such as AWS or GCP.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Golang, Postgres, Redis, Terraform, GraphQL, TypeScript, and React.
• Ability to take significant ownership and make high-impact technical decisions in ambiguous environments.
