3PL Partner Manager (Automotive Logistics)

What you will do

• Own the commercial relationship with the third-party logistics provider and serve as Slate’s primary partner contact.
• Lead a team of 3PL Fulfillment Specialists responsible for warehousing and customer fulfillment.
• Coordinate with digital and systems teams, business units, customer service, sourcing, and external logistics partners.
• Monitor 3PL performance metrics, service-level agreements, inventory levels, packaging supplies, shipments, and receiving discrepancies.
• Validate monthly invoices, compare actual costs with plan, and identify process and cost improvements.
• Build a scalable 3PL ecosystem and support the selection of future partners for service parts, accessories, apparel, and merchandise.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in warehousing, logistics, and material management, preferably with 3PL providers.
• At least 2 years of management experience in supply chain, logistics, or business management.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, material management, operations, or an equivalent background is preferred; relevant professional experience may substitute.
• Experience overseeing third-party logistics relationships and representing a brand with external partners.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, warehouse management, and material management skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, project management tools, Microsoft Excel, and data analysis tools such as SmartSheets, Tableau, or Alteryx.
