Director, Revenue Forecasting (Quantum Computing)

Location: College Park, Maryland, United States; based at the College Park office with the option to work a few days per week remotely. Travel up to 25%, domestic and international. U.S. Person status or qualifying U.S. work authorization may be required for export-controlled technology and government contract work.

Salary: $169,869–$221,514 base annually, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end revenue forecasting process across business units and subsidiaries.
• Build and maintain Percentage of Completion revenue forecasting models for complex, long-duration contracts.
• Identify negative-margin commitments, quantify exposure, and coordinate remediation with legal, commercial, and operations teams.
• Translate operational metrics into standardized financial KPIs and move integrated subsidiaries toward ongoing accountability.
• Coordinate bottoms-up forecasting inputs across manufacturing, supply chain, program management, finance, and executive stakeholders.
• Support earnings guidance, investor communications, M&A diligence, governance, internal controls, and forecasting system improvements.

Requirements

• 15+ years of professional experience, including 8–10 years of progressive finance experience with hands-on ownership of Percentage of Completion revenue forecasting.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related analytical field.
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606, cost-to-complete estimation, milestone-based recognition, and contract modification accounting.
• Experience with complex, contract-driven industries and financial integration of acquired subsidiaries.
• Ability to synthesize inputs across manufacturing, supply chain, program management, finance, and executive leadership.
• U.S. work authorization or qualifying U.S. Person status may be required for export-controlled technology and government contract work.

Nice to have

• CPA or CFA designation.
• Experience with aerospace and defense, government technology, advanced networking, sensing, or U.S. government contract portfolios.
• Familiarity with DCAA audits, Earned Value Management, SEC reporting, earnings preparation, or audit committee presentations.
• Experience with Costpoint, SAP, Oracle, Pigment, OneStream, or Adaptive.
• Interest in developing working fluency in quantum computing and networking technologies.
