Area Manager - Inventory Control / Quality Assurance

What you will do

• Oversee ICQA activities, including cycle counts, physical inventories, audits, investigations, reconciliations, and site projects.
• Ensure consistent use of SOPs, KPI tracking, corrective actions, and customer-specific quality requirements.
• Review operational data to identify trends, high-risk areas, performance drift, and workload-planning needs.
• Lead CAPA execution, audit responses, root-cause analysis, and inventory-related escalations.
• Manage and develop ICQA Leads and Associates while building a culture of accuracy, accountability, and problem-solving.

Requirements

• Two to four years of experience with warehouse management or inventory systems in a high-volume facility.
• Previous leadership experience and a bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
• Strong organizational, time-management, communication, interpersonal, clerical, and data-entry skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, maintain accuracy under pressure, work independently, and build effective relationships.
• Ability to lift or transport up to 20 lbs and use relevant material-handling equipment, including forklifts.
• Ability to work in a distribution-center environment with varying heights, temperatures, and consistent moderate noise, including occasional overtime, evenings, and weekends.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Degree in engineering, operations, supply chain/logistics, business administration, operations management, or a related field.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other process-improvement methods.
