Area Manager - Weekend Shift

Location: Loveland or Fort Collins, Colorado, United States. Weekend schedule: Friday through Sunday, 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional Monday and Thursday meetings.

Salary: $96,550–$111,800 USD per year, plus eligibility for bonus pay.

What you will do

• Lead daily operations to meet customer, safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity expectations.
• Coach, train, and develop associates while managing performance and development planning with HR.
• Translate customer orders, labor availability, and material capacity into weekly and daily build-and-ship plans.
• Create data-driven action plans to improve Standard Work and SQDIP performance.
• Allocate labor, expand cross-training, and improve staffing flexibility across the assigned area.
• Lead improvement projects, support planning and technical teams, and monitor area budgets and policy-deployment plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Science or Engineering, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• 1–3 years of leadership experience, including project-team leadership or staff supervision.
• Experience applying Lean manufacturing methods such as Kaizen, Kanban, root-cause analysis, or countermeasures.
• Experience with machining, injection molding, or mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience with inventory management and operational data analysis and reporting.
• Experience managing work against safety, quality, and customer requirements.
