Manufacturing Quality Engineer II - (E2) (Semiconductor)

Location: Austin, TX, United States. Relocation is not available. Travel is required up to 10% of the time.

Salary: $78,500–$108,000 per year.

What you will do

• Conduct manufacturing quality audits for compliance with internal and external standards.
• Lead and facilitate 8D investigations, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and kaizen events.
• Run regular meetings to address manufacturing non-conformances, line issues, containment, and follow-up actions.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality Engineers and manufacturing teams to contain supplier-related non-conformances and prevent production disruptions.
• Lead quality continuous improvement projects from planning through validation and closure.
• Mentor and train quality and engineering technicians on standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in engineering or science.
• 3+ years of quality engineering experience.
• Practical expertise in quality management and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma, 8D methodology, quality audits, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Working knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001:2015 or AS9100.
• Semiconductor industry experience and DDP product knowledge with manufacturing experience are preferred.

• American Society for Quality Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Quality Auditor certification.
