Quality Engineer-Manufacturing/2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Tyler, Texas, United States; on-site five days per week, including off-shift support

Annual base salary: $77,963.33–$109,340.00

What you will do

• Resolve manufacturing quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Establish capable measurement systems, analyze data, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide daily quality engineering support to manufacturing operations, including second-shift support.
• Support quality management system processes and critical-to-quality process management.
• Support new component and production introduction by developing systems and methods for product and process quality.
• Lead process improvement activities and resolve supplier quality issues affecting production operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• Demonstrated experience leading structured problem-solving activities.
• Strong analytical skills and sound judgment for timely decision-making.
• Computer literacy in a Windows environment and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to organize multiple assignments and communicate effectively across the organization.
• The role is safety sensitive and may require additional drug screening.

Nice to have

• Quality Engineering certification.
• Experience implementing Quality Management Systems.
• Experience applying Lean Six Sigma tools.
