Plumbing Lead & Senior Designer

Location: U.S.-based positions across Houston, Las Vegas, Denver, Kansas City, Dallas, Phoenix, Lenexa, Bentonville, New York City, Los Angeles, Nashville, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, and St. Louis; remote option available. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $108,360–$162,540 in Las Vegas; $113,520–$198,000 in Denver; $119,712–$208,800 in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.; $125,904–$219,600 in New York City. Pay varies by geographic labor costs and other factors.

What you will do

• Design advanced plumbing and building systems, prepare design documents, and perform engineering calculations with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Lead project and design efforts from concept through completion.
• Develop solutions for complex engineering problems and design challenges.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to designers and engineers, including direct supervision where applicable.
• Ensure drawings, specifications, reports, and analyses meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
• Lead quality reviews and contribute to design standards, tools, resources, business development, operations, and risk management.

Requirements

• Lead level: 9 years of relevant experience with a relevant engineering degree, or 10 years without a degree; Senior level: 12 years of relevant experience. A Professional Engineering license may count toward one year of experience.
• Advanced knowledge at Lead level or expert knowledge at Senior level of engineering design, the A&E industry, codes, design guides, and standards.
• Knowledge of earned value, contracts, construction processes, and construction methods.
• Lead level proficiency or Senior level working knowledge of Revit and Bluebeam Revu.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility will be verified.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineering license.
• FE exam completion, LEED accreditation, or WELL accreditation.
