Total Rewards Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Mexico City, Mexico — hybrid. Hybrid work includes time in the office, customer interactions or visits, and working from home; office attendance is expected organically and may be required during ramp-up or at the leader's discretion.

What you will do

• Develop and manage compensation structures across LATAM, including salary bands, variable pay, and equity frameworks.
• Conduct market research and benchmark compensation using survey platforms.
• Support offer calibration and ensure internal equity and market alignment.
• Design and manage benefits programs while balancing compliance, employee experience, and cost efficiency.
• Analyze compensation and benefits data, build financial models, and maintain People dashboards and workforce cost reports.
• Lead annual review cycles, band restructures, benefits renewals, incentive rollouts, and process improvements end to end.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, HR, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in compensation and benefits analysis, ideally with multi-country LATAM exposure.
• Expert proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including financial models, scenario planning, pivot tables, and data visualization.
• Strong analytical, project management, communication, and process ownership skills.
• Fluent Spanish and professional English required.
• Ability to partner with Finance and Legal on payroll, contracts, statutory filings, and labor-law compliance across LATAM.

Nice to have

• Experience at a high-growth startup or fintech operating across Latin America.
• Familiarity with Workday, BambooHR, or similar HRIS and workflow automation tools.
• Knowledge of stock options and ESOPs in a multi-geography context.
