Accounting Support Specialist (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA; at least two days per week in the Raleigh office

Salary: $52,000–$65,000 per year; no additional commission-based compensation

What you will do

• Execute full-cycle accounts payable operations across multiple entities and currencies.
• Process international invoices, applying VAT/GST treatment, GL coding, and purchase order matching.
• Partner with Procurement and Treasury to manage financial obligations and support AI-driven efficiency initiatives.
• Drive process automation by resolving AI-flagged exceptions, monitoring error queues, and participating in user acceptance testing.
• Manage global payment cycles and perform accurate month-end reconciliations in line with internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or at least five years of experience in a high-volume accounts payable role.
• Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP, plus tools such as Zip, Navan, or Brex.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
• Familiarity with international banking requirements and payment methods such as ACH, SEPA, and BACS.
• Experience working with automated or AI-assisted financial workflows.
