Accounts Payable Analyst

Location: Onsite at the corporate offices in the Brickell area of Miami, Florida

What you will do

• Set up vendors and process invoices, purchase orders, and payments, including ACH and wire transfers.
• Review invoices, resolve discrepancies, and communicate with vendors about inquiries, payments, and reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries, reconcile AP accounts, and support month-end and year-end close.
• Prepare AP aging reports, analyze vendor payment trends, and support financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Validate vendor banking details and test payments while maintaining strong payment-fraud controls.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, corporate development, finance, legal, and treasury teams to resolve AP issues and support process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable or financial operations.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, principles, and best practices.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel; NetSuite experience is beneficial.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
