What you will do

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process and continuously reduce the close cycle time.
• Establish and document revenue recognition policies for RaaS contracts under ASC 606 and ASC 842, including deployment, billing suspension, and contract modifications.
• Manage fleet accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, refurbishment, disposition, and impairment.
• Manage inventory accounting, standard costs, excess and obsolete reserves, cycle-count reconciliation, and inventory exposure reporting.
• Own multi-entity consolidation and intercompany accounting as the Mexico subsidiary becomes operational.
• Build internal controls and audit-ready documentation, manage the external audit relationship, and lead the accounting workstream of the ERP transition.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years owning a close process.
• CPA required, with deep GAAP knowledge in revenue recognition and fixed-asset accounting.
• Cost accounting experience in an inventory-carrying business.
• Experience building or substantially upgrading close processes and internal controls.
• ERP administration experience; NetSuite is strongly preferred.
• Public accounting experience at a Big Four or national firm is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with RaaS, leasing, or equipment-as-a-service revenue recognition.
• Multi-entity and international consolidation experience, especially involving Mexico.
• IPO-readiness, public-company reporting, or ERP migration experience.
• Experience building controls in a startup or scale-up environment.
