Operations Associate (Robotics)

Location: DC, United States; on-site

Salary: $22 per hour plus equity; compensation varies by geographic location, level, experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance.

What you will do

• Support autonomous delivery robots in the field and maintain their readiness for deployments and order fulfillment.
• Prepare, inspect, clean, place, recover, charge, sanitize, and account for robotic units and equipment.
• Track, document, and close escalation tickets while maintaining clear updates and supporting records.
• Operate company vehicles or e-bikes safely to move, recover, or reposition robots.
• Respond to obstacles, technical issues, and environmental challenges while escalating critical safety events.
• Share field observations and collaborate with operations, engineering, and customer support on deployments, safety, and training.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to drive mid-size utility vehicles safely.
• Ability to lift and maneuver items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Professional customer-facing communication skills.
• Availability for flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to walk or bike several miles per day, work in various weather conditions, and follow PPE, cell phone, and dress-code requirements.

Nice to have

• One year of experience in last-mile delivery, robotics, or a customer-facing field or service industry.
• Experience with Jira and workplace communication tools such as Slack.
• Strong organizational, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
