Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the Burnet, Texas facility; listed location Austin, TX. Supports a 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM shift and oversight of weekday and weekend schedules.

Salary: $76,000–$95,000 per year.

What you will do

• Provide hands-on floor leadership across decontamination, 200L, canister assembly, ampoule assembly, wet cleaning, and assigned shift coverage.
• Set daily priorities, allocate labor, remove barriers, and ensure production schedules and customer commitments are met.
• Drive operational discipline, proactive safety practices, stop-work authority, change management, and corrective actions.
• Coach and develop leads and operators through floor engagement, feedback, training readiness, cross-training, and team problem solving.
• Coordinate with planning, logistics, engineering, quality, EHS, and analytical laboratory teams to resolve issues and improve performance.
• Monitor safety, quality, productivity, schedule adherence, and other department metrics, including weekend execution and shift handoffs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred, or five years of equivalent manufacturing, operations, or technical leadership experience.
• At least five years of manufacturing or operations experience with increasing responsibility and at least three years of leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with daily production execution, labor planning, shift handoffs, schedule adherence, and on-time shipment commitments.
• Strong safety leadership, escalation, coaching, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001, OSHA-related requirements, Lean, Statistical Process Control, or Six Sigma is preferred.
• Ability to work the 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM shift, support weekend schedules, and lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience in refurbishment, chemical, gas, semiconductor, or controlled manufacturing environments.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
