What you will do

• Supervise employees involved in assembly, inspection, testing, and final testing of electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical equipment and components.
• Set daily team priorities, develop work schedules, assign tasks, and manage shift handoffs and operations reviews.
• Coordinate with service and customer groups to secure the resources, tools, materials, and services needed to meet production schedules.
• Track performance metrics and improve cycle time, equipment efficiency, safety, and production quality.
• Lead team meetings, process improvements, corrective actions, and Lean, Safety, and Quality initiatives.
• Support training, career development, performance management, hiring, rewards, and disciplinary processes.

Requirements

• Understanding and application of guidelines, procedures, and processes within the relevant job family.
• Ability to supervise daily work and coach and develop employees.
• Ability to use judgment based on practice and precedent to resolve production scheduling and priority issues.
• Ability to communicate tactfully and handle sensitive issues.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, work in tight spaces, bend, squat, twist, kneel, reach, lift, distinguish colors, and use hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in a clean-room environment and use required personal protective equipment, including coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
