Electronics Production Technician (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Assemble, test, and integrate prototype, qualification, and space-rated avionics hardware.
• Fabricate avionics wire harnesses, terminations, connectors, pin and socket assemblies, shields, and ground terminations from technical drawings.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams, wiring layouts, and minimalistic prototype assembly documentation.
• Use laboratory test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and data acquisition boxes.
• Collaborate with engineering disciplines and technical management while communicating project status, progress, and risks.
• Support agile project management practices and work additional shifts, evenings, or weekends when required by project milestones.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an electronics technician.
• Experience with board-level, system-level, and spacecraft-level electronics hardware.
• Demonstrated expertise in fabricating, assembling, and testing avionics and electrical assemblies.
• At least one applicable NASA or IPC certification in crimping, cable and wire harness assembly, soldering, or polymeric application on electronic assemblies.
• Eligibility for access to export-controlled technical data under applicable U.S. export control screening requirements is a condition of employment.
