Salary: $116,000–$175,000 per year, plus potential annual incentive and/or long-term incentives.

Answer Engineering, a hirify.global Manufacturing company, provides aerospace design and analysis services for UAV, eVTOL, space tourism, and other complex engineering programs.

What you will do

  • Compose, develop, test, and support electrical and electronic systems for UAVs and other aerospace platforms.
  • Build and analyze aerospace electrical systems, including power distribution systems and avionics interfaces.
  • Create schematics, wiring diagrams, PCB layouts, and system architectures.
  • Perform circuit analysis, simulation, testing, failure analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineers on multidisciplinary engineering problems.
  • Prepare technical documentation, support build reviews, and ensure compliance with aerospace standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience with power distribution systems, avionics interfaces, drone avionics, control electronics, and wire harnesses.
  • Demonstrable hands-on building experience, strong technical skills, and careful attention to detail.
  • Required proficiency with oscilloscopes and soldering.
  • Ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines and work on military and DoD projects.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with Altium and SolidWorks.
  • RF experience.
  • IPC-620 certification or related knowledge.
