Continuous Improvement Specialist II, Industrial Engineering (Plano, TX)

Location: Onsite in the Plano, Texas office 5 days per week, with occasional travel 3–4 times per year. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $76,802–$90,356 per year.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end business process analysis using Value Stream Mapping, DMAIC, and related continuous improvement methodologies.
• Independently execute improvement initiatives and recommend sustainable, data-driven solutions.
• Plan and facilitate Kaizen workshops with cross-functional participants and document outcomes, controls, standard work, SOPs, and process documentation.
• Define KPIs and analyze operational and financial data covering trends, capacity, productivity, and improvement results.
• Prepare dashboards, business cases, ROI estimates, workflow analyses, and time-based process analyses for leadership decisions.
• Advise managers, collaborate with operational teams and vendors, communicate findings, and support training and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 2 years of related experience, or an advanced degree with limited professional experience.
• Developing professional expertise in continuous improvement, analytics, and business operations, with the ability to work independently on moderately scoped issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required; hirify.global uses E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification; certification is required within a defined period if not already obtained.
