US Supply Planner (Solar)

Location: United States (Fremont, California); periodic travel may be required.

Salary: $110,000–$120,000 annually, plus bonus and equity eligibility.

Develops integrated clean-energy technology, structural, electrical, and digital solutions for utility-scale solar power plants.

What you will do

• Lead supplier allocation planning based on demand forecasts, supplier capacity, pricing agreements, and contractual commitments.
• Secure supply commitments and monitor material readiness against production and project schedules.
• Identify supply gaps and execute mitigation, recovery, supplier ramp-up, and capacity expansion plans.
• Drive supplier on-time shipment performance and lead supplier performance reviews.
• Use MRP and planning tools to improve purchase-order-to-delivery visibility, planning accuracy, and inventory health.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Logistics, Regional Delivery, and Project Operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting, MRP logic, capacity planning, and supplier allocation strategies.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as Oracle and advanced planning tools such as Anaplan.
• Advanced analytical skills in Excel and experience managing supplier performance in a global environment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience in solar, electronics, semiconductor, steel, automotive, heavy equipment, or comparable industries is preferred.
