What you will do

  • Develop, validate, maintain, and revise CMM inspection programs and measurement routines.
  • Maintain inspection software documentation, databases, and measurement records.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance, calibration, and performance verification for CMM equipment.
  • Support product development, process validation, production inspection, and supplier quality activities.
  • Train inspectors, machinists, and other personnel on CMM operation and automated inspection processes.
  • Investigate dimensional nonconformances, prepare inspection reports, and improve inspection efficiency through automation and process optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing technology, quality, metrology, or a related technical field.
  • At least 3 years of experience programming and operating CMMs.
  • At least 3 years of experience providing metrology solutions in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, metrology principles, dimensional analysis, and measurement system analysis.
  • Proficiency with CMM programming software, automated inspection systems, Microsoft Office, and standard PC applications.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, including coordinate geometry and trigonometry.
