People Operations Specialist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design and own the end-to-end People Operations strategy across Mexico, Colombia, and Brazil.
• Establish consistent, scalable, and locally compliant onboarding, offboarding, payroll coordination, and employment documentation processes.
• Serve as an internal expert on labor law and HR compliance across LATAM.
• Build AI-powered workflow automations with tools such as N8N, Claude, Gemini, Replit, and Slack.
• Own global People data and build Metabase dashboards covering headcount, turnover, tenure, and compliance.
• Manage and mentor a regional People Operations team while partnering with Finance, Legal, country leadership, and the broader People team.

Requirements

• Experience designing, scaling, and managing People Operations in high-growth technology environments across multiple LATAM jurisdictions.
• Strong working knowledge of labor law and HR compliance in at least two of Mexico, Colombia, and Brazil.
• Experience building AI-based workflow automations to increase operational output.
• Fluency with People data and Metabase or similar analytics tools.
• Strong execution, ownership, communication, organization, and adaptability across multiple markets and priorities.
• Ability to work on-site in Mexico City.

Nice to have

• Basic Portuguese proficiency or motivation to learn it.
• Experience implementing or migrating global HRIS or payroll systems.
• Knowledge of CLT and eSocial, IMSS/INFONAVIT, or UGPP.
• Experience with N8N, Replit, spreadsheets, SQL, or Python.
