Expert Security Manager – Business Resiliency and Security Operations

Location: San Diego, United States; hybrid home/office workplace

Base salary: $96,614.00–$141,701.89 annually, plus eligibility for an annual corporate bonus.

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve the enterprise crisis management framework, including plans, playbooks, governance, activation protocols, executive support, and after-action reviews.
• Develop standardized emergency response capabilities and Emergency Action Plans across sites, advising site leaders and coordinating responses to critical events.
• Oversee physical security programs and third-party security providers across office locations.
• Build employee preparedness programs, awareness campaigns, role-based training, exercises, and all-hazards readiness resources.
• Manage the Critical Event Management platform and emergency notification capabilities, including dashboards, workflows, data structures, and user experiences.
• Analyze operational data, recommend risk mitigations, and support travel security, event security, executive protection, intelligence, GSOC, workplace violence prevention, investigations, and compliance programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in emergency management, business administration, homeland security, crisis management, analytics, intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Industry certification such as PSP or CPP, or equivalent US government or military certification, plus a relevant resiliency or crisis management certification such as CCMC, AEM, CEM, or CBCP.
• At least 5 years of experience in emergency response, emergency management, crisis management, security programs, or complex security operations in military, government, or large corporate environments.
• Experience conducting security or threat assessments, developing emergency and crisis response policies, and advising on safety and security practices.
• Strong report writing, project management, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid home/office arrangement in San Diego, United States.
