Global Security Program Manager (AI)

Location: Remote, based in the United States; hybrid offices in San Francisco and New York, with travel to Notion offices, events, and other locations expected up to 50%.

Base salary for roles based in San Francisco or New York City: $208,000–$233,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead physical security programs across multiple sites and regions, improving consistency across access control, visitor management, incident response, and vendor operations.
• Launch a global physical security parity project to identify regional practices, gaps, and priorities.
• Own Notion’s physical security technology program, including systems, data, and operating practices.
• Coordinate international projects with Workplace, People, IT, Legal, business leaders, vendors, building partners, and local stakeholders.
• Develop ownership in a major security or safety pillar such as business continuity, disaster recovery, event security, travel risk, crisis management, monitoring operations, guard force operations, or governance.
• Use AI to improve communications, documentation, accuracy checks, and repetitive operational work.

Requirements

• Experience owning physical security or safety programs across multiple sites or regions.
• Experience with security technology, access control, incident response, or vendor operations.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to move international projects from ambiguity to delivery.
• Clear communication with internal partners, vendors, building management, and local stakeholders.
• Service-oriented approach, curiosity, ownership, and sound judgment.
• Novice AI proficiency and willingness to use AI as a practical collaborator.
