Engagement Lead, Incident Response Partner Services (Remote)

Location: USA - Remote

Base salary: $115,000–$160,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonuses, equity grants, health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Cybersecurity company developing an AI-native platform to protect organizations from breaches and process large-scale security telemetry.

What you will do

• Oversee incident response engagements performed by CrowdStrike partners.
• Coordinate investigation scope, objectives, project tasks, client deliverables, and delivery workflows.
• Support partners in communicating forensic and malware analysis findings to executives, regulators, legal counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor partners on advanced host and network forensics across Windows, Mac, and Linux.
• Review investigation reports, recommendations, presentations, and findings for quality and alignment.
• Lead process improvement initiatives, maintain documentation, and coordinate cross-functional execution.

Requirements

• Experience leading teams through complex incident response investigations, including ransomware, eCrime, or business email compromise cases.
• Experience managing consulting relationships, external resources, projects, and client deliverables.
• Team leadership experience in a matrixed consulting environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and drive results in a rapidly changing environment.
• Experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience reviewing technical investigation results for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Thought leadership within the incident response industry.
• Ability to travel on short notice, up to 30% of the time.
