What you will do
- Serve as the primary HR contact for warehouse employees and provide reliable support on HR-related matters.
- Partner with warehouse leadership on corrective actions, investigations, escalations, attendance requests, and benefits questions.
- Prepare attendance reports covering UPT, PTO, callouts, and general attendance compliance.
- Develop and maintain SOPs for people programs and processes, supporting legal compliance and consistent practices.
- Analyze people data to identify trends and create proactive employee engagement solutions.
- Implement people policies and engagement initiatives while balancing operational efficiency with a supportive workplace culture.
Requirements
- Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills required.
- Knowledge and application of HR fundamentals.
- Experience with employee engagement, problem-solving, and diverse employee populations.
- Ability to influence change and foster an inclusive environment.
- Experience working in a rapidly changing, continuously innovative environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
Nice to have
- Experience in a startup or similarly dynamic workplace.
- Familiarity with HR software and tools such as Workday.
- Experience conducting employee engagement surveys and implementing action plans.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance procedures, including onsite drug screenings.
- Experience developing and managing employee engagement programs.
