People Operations Manager

What you will do

• Own day-to-day People Operations across North America, including onboarding, employment changes, leaves of absence, and offboarding.
• Administer payroll data, benefits enrollments and changes, employee communications, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local employment laws, filings, audits, and reporting requirements.
• Advise managers and employees on HR policies, employee relations, performance management, disciplinary actions, workplace conflicts, and investigations.
• Lead HR projects covering process improvements, policy updates, system enhancements, compliance, and employee wellbeing.
• Develop HR metrics, dashboards, workforce reports, and scalable service-delivery improvements with global HR teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, HR Operations, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience managing payroll processes, payroll vendors, employee benefits, HR systems, and the full employee lifecycle.
• Knowledge of North American employment law, HR compliance, leave administration, accommodations, and HR audits.
• At least 2 years of experience leading cross-functional projects.
• Strong organizational, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, judgment, and confidentiality skills.
• Experience with Workday HRIS, advanced Microsoft Excel, reporting, people analytics, benefits platforms, and payroll systems.
