Company

hirify.global is a defense technology company designing and manufacturing high-performance unmanned systems for large-scale deployment.

What you will do

  • Own schematic capture and circuit design across analog, digital, RF, and mixed-signal subsystems, including component selection and power architecture.
  • Direct or participate in PCB layout, reviewing stackup, impedance, routing constraints, and alignment with design intent.
  • Lead hardware integration from board bring-up through production qualification and troubleshoot circuits and systems using bench instrumentation.
  • Write and execute test procedures and electronics verification plans linked to requirements, test methods, and acceptance criteria.
  • Apply DFT, DFM, and DFR to production builds and resolve issues found in assemblies from contract manufacturers.
  • Coordinate EMI/EMC, thermal, shock/vibration, and environmental qualification with external test laboratories.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in electronics hardware design and verification, including ownership of design execution and verification close-out on production programs.
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout direction; Altium experience is preferred.
  • Experience leading hardware integration and board bring-up, with hands-on circuit-level debugging using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
  • Strong circuit theory fundamentals across analog, digital, and RF domains, applied to hands-on design and debugging.
  • Experience with electronics test procedures, verification plans, DFT, DFM, DFR, and MATLAB, Python, or a comparable scripting language.

Nice to have

  • Experience executing WCCA across digital, analog, RF, and mixed-signal subsystems.
  • Familiarity with MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, IEC, UL, or CE qualification standards.
  • Aerospace, defense, or drone hardware development experience with production qualification.
  • Experience with FMEA, derating analysis, reliability prediction, or SI/PI analysis tools.

Culture & Benefits

  • Fast-paced, hands-on engineering environment focused on moving systems from design to deployment.
  • Work on unmanned systems tested in combat and produced at scale.
  • Base salary is accompanied by highly competitive equity grants as part of total compensation.
  • Equal opportunity employment is provided to all applicants.
