What you will do

• Own supplier quality strategy and leadership for hirify.global’s semiconductor commodity portfolio across the full product lifecycle.
• Lead supplier qualification, manufacturing capability assessments, process audits, readiness evaluations, and supplier improvement roadmaps.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, commodity management, reliability, operations, program management, and strategic suppliers on NPI programs.
• Lead process qualification, First Article Inspection, process validation, production readiness, foundry and manufacturing transfers, localization, tool qualification, and dual-source qualification.
• Drive supplier risk mitigation, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, statistical analysis, SPC, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Act as the technical quality interface with suppliers and influence technical decisions through data-driven analysis and engineering expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Semiconductor Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, product quality, process engineering, or quality engineering within high-technology semiconductor manufacturing.
• Technical knowledge of wafer fabrication, epitaxial growth, lithography, thin-film deposition, etch, CMP, bumping, wafer probing, singulation, assembly, packaging, and final test.
• Experience with compound semiconductor or photonic technologies such as InP, GaAs, silicon photonics, CMOS, SOI, or advanced semiconductor packaging.
• Knowledge of SPC, process capability analysis, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, JEDEC qualification standards, semiconductor reliability qualifications, and 8D failure analysis.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally by approximately 20–30%.
