Regional Mechanical Design Manager (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Remote across Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States; collaboration spans European and US projects and time zones.

Salary: €165,000–€240,000 annually in Europe, or £145,000–£210,000 annually in the United Kingdom, plus potential equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Own the mechanical reference designs used across hirify.global projects.
• Govern the application of standard designs and manage project deviations.
• Assure mechanical design for heat rejection, chilled water, and liquid cooling systems.
• Review consultant and contractor deliverables against fleet standards.
• Support cooling architecture decisions for liquid-cooled, high-density NVIDIA Vera deployments.
• Collaborate with procurement, commissioning, operations, and project design leads to improve mechanical standards.

Requirements

• Data center mechanical design experience is essential.
• Deep knowledge of cooling systems, including chilled water and heat rejection plants.
• Working knowledge of liquid cooling for high-density compute.
• Experience governing design standards across multiple projects or a fleet.
• Experience reviewing and assuring consultant and contractor design work.
• Ability to work across European and US projects and time zones.
