Engineering Team Lead – AI Applications (Life Sciences)

What you will do

• Own the technical architecture of AI applications for the life sciences domain.
• Design and implement agentic workflows, multi-agent collaboration mechanisms, and LLM fine-tuning or private-deployment solutions.
• Lead efforts to address LLM hallucinations, biomedical reasoning, and high-precision information extraction.
• Develop agent planning, tool-use, and reflection mechanisms to improve output accuracy and reliability.
• Lead, mentor, and develop an AI full-stack engineering team while improving development workflows and delivery efficiency.
• Collaborate with life sciences experts and product managers to translate medical and pharmaceutical requirements into AI solutions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software or full-stack development experience, including 2 or more years delivering AI or LLM-powered applications.
• Experience leading an agile software engineering team.
• Strong understanding of LLM capabilities, limitations, and underlying principles.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar agent frameworks and orchestration patterns.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one statically typed programming language, with knowledge of modern frontend, backend, and cloud-native architectures.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required, including strong written, verbal, and cross-cultural communication skills.
