What you will do

• Lead engineering integration and collaboration across the Semiconductor Division and Vacuum Technique Business Area.
• Define, plan, execute, and deliver new and derivative products through NPI, A&D, and ETO programmes.
• Provide technical support to the Product Company and Customer Centers, including quality problem resolution and China localization activities.
• Measure and improve product design quality through warranty reporting, follow-up, and service information bulletins.
• Ensure products meet legislative, industrial, and corporate standards through design reviews, safety reviews, certification, and technical authority documentation.
• Visit customers and Customer Centers to identify design quality, serviceability, and customer experience improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science; a master’s degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of engineering experience and 3+ years of engineering leadership experience covering new product development, product management, technical support, and aftermarket support.
• Technical knowledge of vacuum pumps, systemised products, and semiconductor applications such as Diffusion, PVD, Etch, and CVD.
• Experience with experimental techniques, reliability testing, product design technologies, and engineering change control.
• Knowledge of regulations and standards including SEMI S2, CE, and NRTL.
• Ability to manage projects to specification, schedule, quality, and cost targets while motivating and developing engineering staff.

Nice to have

• Technical knowledge of rotating machinery, Roots vacuum pump technology, mechanical boosters, or electrical engineering.
• Master’s degree in engineering or science.
