People Systems Analyst (HR Technology)

Location: Hybrid role based in Menlo Park, CA, Dublin, CA, or Bellevue, WA, with at least 3 days per week in-office attendance required.

Salary: $132K–$173.2K annually.

What you will do

• Partner with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and HR stakeholders to conduct discovery, document requirements, and recommend system solutions.
• Lead end-to-end HR system implementations and enhancements, including solution design, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
• Create test plans and scripts, coordinate testing cycles, track defects, and drive issues to resolution.
• Administer and support ServiceNow HRSD, Ashby, and other HR systems; troubleshoot production issues and manage the support queue.
• Maintain data integrity and compliance across HR platforms, document configurations and procedures, and support end-user training.
• Use AI tools to improve, automate, and operationalize People Systems processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on business systems analyst experience in HR technology, including discovery, requirements documentation, testing, and project-based deployment ownership.
• Experience supporting system implementations in a high-growth, global environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead UAT and regression testing, including test scripting, tester coordination, defect tracking, and resolution.
• Experience with cutover planning, go-live coordination, and hypercare support for implementations or major releases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including translating business requirements into technical specifications and explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and process-design skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and changing priorities.
• Customer-service orientation, collaborative mindset, follow-through, and composure under pressure.
• Curiosity and experience experimenting with AI tools such as Cortex Code, CoWork, Gemini, and ChatGPT to improve daily work.
• Every employee must follow Snowflake confidentiality and security standards and protect sensitive customer and employee data.

Nice to have

• Hands-on administration and business systems analyst experience with ServiceNow HRSD, including catalog items, flows, HR case management, and configuration.
• Experience supporting or administering Ashby or another comparable Applicant Tracking System.
• Hands-on Workday HCM experience in configuration, business processes, or production support.
• Familiarity with HR data governance and handling sensitive employee data.
