Manager/Director Human Resources (Minneapolis, MN)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. Full-time hybrid position with one remote workday per week, 25% travel across the Twin Cities division, and possible relocation assistance based on business needs.

Salary: $81,500–$135,000 annually, depending on experience and position level. Bonus eligibility is included.

What you will do

• Develop recruiting strategies and hire or promote candidates for union and exempt positions.
• Conduct interviews and selection processes while supporting operational staffing needs.
• Investigate and resolve hotline calls, internal complaints, and EEOC or state agency charges.
• Prepare and deliver training on human resources and benefits topics for diverse employee groups.
• Advise employees and leaders on concerns, career development, payroll, benefits, and other HR matters.
• Execute projects that improve HR processes and adapt to changing departmental priorities.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Manager level: 3–5 years of experience in human resources or a related field; Director level: at least 6 years.
• Experience in employee relations, recruitment, and hiring selection.
• Knowledge of federal and applicable state employment laws.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, integrity, and ability to manage confidential information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in human resources, business, or a related field.
