HR Representative - Multi Site (WI & MN)

Location: Minneapolis, MN, with regular travel between facilities in Minneapolis, Golden Valley, MN, and Marshfield, WI. Approximately 50% of the time is spent onsite at manufacturing locations; the posting also states that the role may be onsite approximately 80% of the time.

Starting salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year, plus an annual performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Manage recruiting activities for hourly and salaried positions, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, requisitions, and hiring documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs and maintain confidential employee records throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Administer FMLA, short-term disability, unemployment claims, attendance programs, and related documentation.
• Support employee training, engagement, workforce development, and retention initiatives across three manufacturing facilities.
• Advise employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and programs while supporting compliance with employment regulations.
• Lead special HR projects related to recruitment, retention, engagement, policy development, and workforce planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• One to two years of HR experience, preferably in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, or HR administration.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations, including I-9 employment eligibility verification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, organization, time-management, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly between the Minneapolis, Golden Valley, and Marshfield facilities and work onsite in manufacturing environments.

• Experience in manufacturing and/or union environments.
