Software Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Deliver assigned software modules and tasks by coding, testing, and troubleshooting programs.
• Assist QA with diagnosing system problems and reviewing or repairing legacy code.
• Review code and environment changes to minimize negative effects on system performance.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, build and release, database, and related teams to deploy code efficiently to production.
• Build reusable components, templates, code, and libraries while optimizing applications for speed and scalability.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of software development experience and a technical background with the ability to read and write source code in multiple languages.
• Experience with cloud and on-premise server environments and integration technologies.
• Experience developing third-party API integrations and web services using REST and SOAP/WSDL.
• Experience with Java, MySQL, Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Linux, AWS, SES, SMTP, and Cron.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes-based deployment, scaling, and container management is advantageous.
