Manager, Corporate Accounting

What you will do

• Lead the accounting team and oversee month-end and year-end close activities, including financial statements, reconciliations, variance analysis, and journal entry approvals.
• Prepare accurate monthly financial reports to support business decision-making.
• Research and document technical accounting positions for complex transactions such as debt and equity financings, warrants, leases, and business combinations.
• Manage annual audit and compliance activities, including documentation, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Support the design and documentation of SOX and ICFR controls as the company works toward public-company reporting readiness.
• Improve accounting procedures and lead the rollout of accounting software and ERP add-ons in collaboration with finance, legal, operations, and IT.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA license preferred.
• 8–10+ years of relevant accounting experience, including accounting operations in a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and practical experience with technical accounting research and documentation.
• Experience preparing financial statements and comprehensive reports, maintaining internal controls, and implementing accounting procedures.
• Proficiency with ERP and accounting systems; SAP experience is a plus.
• Strong team leadership, analytical, communication, judgment, integrity, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• CPA license.
• SAP experience.
• Knowledge of automotive industry accounting standards.
