Facilities Engineer III - HVAC Utilities

What you will do

• Provide engineering oversight and technical support for HVAC and utility systems, including chilled water, hot water, air handling units, exhaust systems, and cleanroom environments.
• Support temperature-controlled chambers, cold rooms, controlled warehouse spaces, and standalone refrigerated units.
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve system reliability and uptime.
• Troubleshoot facilities utilities, monitor equipment performance, and identify temporary and permanent corrective actions.
• Support capital projects, equipment design specifications, change controls, deviations, corrective actions, impact assessments, and periodic reviews.
• Coordinate with Facilities, Quality, Validation, contractors, vendors, and other departments while maintaining audit-ready documentation.

Requirements

• Experience supporting facilities systems in a GMP environment.
• Prior experience in maintenance or technical documentation.
• Knowledge of cleanroom HVAC design requirements and HEPA filter certification processes.
• Ability to work with P&IDs, SOPs, cGMP requirements, equipment certifications, and CMMS systems.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Work authorization or visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 5–7 years of engineering experience in a GMP environment.
